Gecko hot tub error code

Gecko hot tub code FLO / FLO: No water flow

Gecko in.yt, in.ye, in.xe and in.yj spa controls

What FLO means

No water flow was detected while the main pump was running.

Also shown as: FLO, depending on the model.

Likely causes

  • Closed valves
  • Low water
  • Blocked filter
  • Air trapped in the plumbing
  • Heater pump not running

Safe first checks

  1. Make sure the circulation valves are open and the water level is high enough.
  2. Turn the spa off at its breaker and make sure nothing is blocking the filter.
  3. If air is trapped, Gecko says to start the pump and slowly loosen a union nut to let the air out, then tighten it.

When to stop

Gecko lists a minimum flow of 18 GPM. In.flo cable, configuration and heater wiring checks are tech steps.

Parts that may help

Only order a part once the checks above point to it, and match the part number to your model.
