What UE means
The load is unbalanced, so the washer can't spin properly. A small "uE" means it's trying to rebalance on its own (up to three times), which needs no action. A capital "UE" with the cycle paused means you need to rearrange the load.

Likely causes
- Load too small
- One heavy or bulky item
- Mixed heavy and light items
Safe first checks
- Rearrange the laundry evenly around the drum, then close the door and press Start/Pause.
- If the load is very small, add one or two similar items to help it balance.
When to stop
If it happens on most loads, the washer may need leveling or service.
