What 1 blink means
One repeating red blink means the backup battery voltage is low. A double beep on an on/off command also means low receiver batteries, and the module stops accepting commands until they're replaced.
Also shown as: 1 red blink, double beep, depending on the model.
Likely causes
- Low backup or receiver batteries
Safe first checks
- Replace the batteries in the remote and the module's backup battery pack (often 4 AA).
When to stop
If it continues with fresh batteries, have it checked.
